Displaid: technology and artificial intelligence for safer infrastructure

Displaid is a deep-tech startup founded in 2023 by researchers from the Politecnico di Milano, specialising in the monitoring and intelligent management of bridges and viaducts through the integration of advanced sensors and artificial intelligence. Displaid’s technology combines sensors that collect real-time data with data analysis algorithms, transforming infrastructure from passive assets into systems capable of providing operational information to support diagnostics, prevention and maintenance planning. The team has consolidated its solution through pilot projects and collaborations with infrastructure operators and public administrations, advancing a vision of intelligent, connected infrastructure capable of “communicating” its state of health. Displaid leverages IoT technology and artificial intelligence models to interpret structural data collected by sensors and deliver reliable, actionable insights, making maintenance more predictive and sustainable.
