Displaid: the startup simplifying preventive infrastructure maintenance

In December 2024, Forbes Italia published an in-depth feature on Displaid, recognising it as one of the most promising Italian startups founded by under-30 entrepreneurs, thanks to its technological proposition in the field of preventive infrastructure maintenance. Displaid was founded by four engineers — Lorenzo Benedetti (CEO), Francesco Morgan Bono (CTO), Luca Radicioni (COO) and Gianluca Donizzelli (CFO) — who transformed an academic vision into a solution applicable at real-world scale across road networks. The startup develops an integrated platform comprising sensors installed on structures and data analysis algorithms: the devices collect structural information, while automated analyses identify anomalies and signs of deterioration, supporting infrastructure managers in planning preventive interventions and managing resources efficiently.
